SoundMaker Fundamentals

SoundMaker is a combination of three core pillars, the Editor, FPK and Player.

Editor

The editor serves as the application that sound designers use to craft and author interactive experiences.  It features runtime modulators to link game parameters with component properties, an advanced audio caching system and a powerful set of components that act as building blocks for the audio experiences. Once the designer is happy  with the experience, it can be then exported as an FPK.

FPK

A proprietary distributable cross-platform file format (FPK) is used by SoundMaker packages together with all of the necessary elements for interactive audio projects, including Fabric components and audio assets.

Players

Once an FPK has been exported, it can be imported into a Player. The SoundMaker Players integrates with popular game engines like Unity and Unreal, as well as Digital Audio Workstations (VSTs), making it easy for audio engineers to integrate SoundMaker into their existing workflows.
