Overview

SoundMaker uses serial keys to enable various features, including authoring and loading FPKs into players. Below is a detailed breakdown of the pricing structure and usage instructions for different user categories.

For Content Creators

License Types

Once the key is entered, users can author FPKs with the following license types, available in the Scene inspector panel:

SoundMaker VST (Linear) Player

Loading FPKs

When browsing and attempting to load an FPK into the VST Player, the license type and serial key section will be visible in the info section if a serial key is already present. If not then the FPK Serial Key box will be blank

Entering Serial Keys

Users can copy/paste their purchased serial key for the FPK.

  • Valid Key: If the serial key is valid, the FPK will load, and the key will be stored and shown in the Info view.
  • Invalid Key: If the key is invalid or absent, a popup dialog will prompt the user to enter the serial key again.

Notes

  • Interactive-authored FPKs can be loaded into the VST player.
  • Internal FPKs require entering the internal serial key only once. Subsequent FPKs will automatically use the stored internal serial key.
